צוות המחקר בשיקום אורתופדי קליני לילדים מספק מסגרת מבוססת ראיות, לפיתוח כלים להערכת תוצאות השיקום במגוון רחב של בעיות אורתופדיות בילדים, ובדיקת יעילות הכלים. 

הצוות מפתח ומעריך את השפעות התערבויות שיקום אורתופדיות קליניות חדשות בילדים עם מצבים רפואיים שונים, כולל שיתוק מוחין, פגיעה בחוט השדרה, פגיעה מוחית, מיאלומנינגוצלה, אוסטאוגנזה אימפרפקטה, מחלות עצב-שריר ומחלות גנטיות, מומים מולדים, קטיעות גפיים, ארתרוגריפוזיס, ביטויים אונקולוגיים בשריר ובשלד, טראומת שריר-שלד והפרעות בעמוד השדרה.
